Welcome

Welcome to the New ILTA website. There are many new features that will make this site a very useful tool for members of the Illinois Land Title Association, as well as, the general public when searching for a title insurance provider. Each section listed on the tool bar above has a drop down listing to make your navigation simpler. Not listed on the above tool bar are "member only" benefits such as legislative updates, "Person/Property of Interest," and archives for Abstract Thoughts & Title Matters which can only be accessed by using a unique User I.D. and password. To learn more about ILTA member benefits click on the "membership" button and select "member catagories."

Members: If you have forgotten your User I.D. or password call the ILTA office at 217.528.5230. Remember, make sure when you login to go the members only areas, including the "person of interest" section that you log out before leaving our website.

Person/Property of Interest: This members' only section provides another tool in the prevention of possible mortgage and title fraud. Members can "self-populate" this area upon registration with the ILTA office. For more information call the ILTA office.

In addition this location will give you a direct link to the ALTA Homeland Security's Patriot Act (if you are an ALTA member) to check for people who may be a security risk. If you have not received an email from ILTA with your personal User I. D. and password, please call the ILTA office immediately (217) 528-5230. Once you have logged in you can change your login information.

If you any questions regarding how this new website works, please do not hesitate to call the Illinois Land Title Association office.

poi (Person of Interest) access

To access the POI (located under the Membership header button) or any of the other member only restricted areas, click the "member" login button on the upper right hand corner of this screen. Remember, user ID and Password are case sensitive.

Mortgage fraud continues to top the charts in growing crime in the United States and Illinois is not an exception. In an effort to help curb this trend, ILTA has added a "persons of interest" section where members can look up names of people, entities, properties and/or documents possibly linked to fraudulent mortgage or title transactions. This information is of an advisory basis and its sole intention is to create notification that should warrant additional research by you and your company should a name, address or document appear in this database. Once registered, ILTA members can add or view names to this ever growing listing of names, addresses and/or documents. In addition, members can access the ALTA Patriot Act searchable database (if an ALTA member) of names from this website, thus eliminating an extra step in searching that data base for people on the United States security watch list. This new section is located under the "membership" tab.
