Welcome to the New ILTA website. There are many new features that will make this site a very useful tool for members of the Illinois Land Title Association, as well as, the general public when searching for a title insurance provider. Each section listed on the tool bar above has a drop down listing to make your navigation simpler. Other changes include your own personal login user I.D. and password. Make sure if you login to go the members only areas, including the "person of interest" section that you log out before leaving our website.

In the the membership section we have added our "person of interest" section to help you in eliminating fraud. This section will give up to date information on people who have been involved in fraudulent mortgage transactions with lenders, realtors, brokers and title insurers. Members can "self-populate" this area upon registration with the ILTA office.

In addition this location will give you a direct link to the ALTA Homeland Security's Patriot Act (if you are an ALTA member) to check for people who may be a security risk. If you have not received an email from ILTA with your personal User I. D. and password, please call the ILTA office immediately (217) 528-5230. Once you have logged in you can change your login information.

Mortgage fraud continues to top the charts in growing crime in the United States and Illinois is not exception. In an effort to help curb this trend, ILTA has added a "persons of interest" section where members can look up names of people, entities, properties and/or documents where possible fraudulent activity has taken place. Once registered, ILTA members can add or view names to this ever growing list of people convicted of illegal mortage/title fraud. In addition, members can access the ALTA Patriot Act searchable database (if an ALTA member) of names from this website, thus eliminating an extra step in searching that data base for people on the United States security watch list. This new section is located under the "membership" tab.
